recycling

From old tires to new material

Recycling used tires is a process in which they are transformed into a new material. Shredding and processing produce materials such as rubber granules, which can be reused in various applications, from rubber products to construction and sporting goods. This not only helps reduce waste but also enables the sustainable use of valuable resources and reduces the environmental footprint.

Processing

The processing of used tires, whether car tires, truck tires, or other rubber tires, is a crucial step in the recycling process. Preliminary sorting or baling only marks the beginning of this process.

Shredding

The more crucial step involves shredding or tearing up the used tires, creating a new material/raw material. This is often further processed in pyrolysis plants to optimize its properties or to refine the raw material even further.

That's recycling

for Germany and the world!

Used tire recycling is a multifaceted process that offers a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for tire disposal while recovering valuable raw materials. This process involves several key steps, beginning with the collection and sorting of used tires. Used tires are collected from various sources, including auto repair shops, tire retailers, and recycling centers. In this step, the tires are sorted according to type and condition to prepare them for the actual recycling process. This is a crucial step in the recycling process. The used tires are shredded and crushed to transform them into smaller pieces or rubber granules. These granules can be reused in a variety of applications. After shredding, the materials, including rubber, steel, and textiles, are separated. These materials are then cleaned to remove contaminants. Some recycling facilities utilize pyrolysis to convert used tires into oil, gas, and coal.

These products can be used as raw materials in various industries, including the chemical industry. The recycled rubber can be reused in numerous products, including rubber compounds for the manufacture of new tires, rubber mats, playground surfaces, sports field underlays, and much more. The reused materials help reduce the need for new raw materials and minimize the environmental footprint. At every stage of the used tire recycling process, the quality of the recycled materials is monitored and ensured to guarantee compliance with applicable standards. Used tire recycling makes a significant contribution to sustainability and environmental protection. It reduces waste, conserves natural resources, and lessens the environmental impact of manufacturing new tires. At the same time, it offers diverse reuse opportunities in various industries, leading to efficient resource utilization and responsible waste management. Only through responsibility and collective action can resources be reprocessed.

For our planet!

Container & Bund

As a specialist company for the proper and professional recycling of tires, including car tires, motorcycle tires, tractor tires, bicycle tires, and more, we are your competent partner not only in Germany but also internationally. Our process includes not only sorting the tires but also dismantling them into individual components. These are either pressed into bales weighing 550 to 750 kilograms or processed into tire shreds in our shredding machine. These shreds are used in industry or can be further processed in pyrolysis plants to recover the valuable raw material rubber. This approach not only protects the environment but can also be more cost-effective, as it is chemically less complex than producing new rubber.
